Gioji temple

Different from crowded destinations, I guided guests around Sagano area today. We visited some less common small temples located on the foot part of Ogurayama mountain. Among them, Gioji was awesome because it has a beautiful compact moss garden. As canopy areas of some maple trees began to change their colors, we could enjoy a little bit autumn leaves viewing.
