Bamboo Path in Sagano on a stormy day.

I guided a couple from Switzerland yesterday on a stormy day due to typhoon No.7. Most destinations were closed except Kiyomizudera. Even at Kiyomizudera, where we could walk around was limited. We decided to go to Sagano Bamboo path using taxi first. On a narrow path leading to Bamboo Path usually crowded with tourists, there were lots of broken branches and bamboos were scattered. I removed those branches one by one so that taxi could go forward. Some big broken branches and bamboos blocked the popular Bamboo path. At Ogura Pond in front of Mikami jinja, lotus flowers were at the last phase. A big frog climbed on the lotus leaf. That scene looked like the world of the Indian ink paintings, however this frog was too big.
