Miyakodori, Larus ridibundus

Miyako-dori come from Russia to Kamo River in Kyoto to spend the wintertime.
They seem to find this area very comfortable, and enjoy bathing and dozing off, making feel at home.
Their heads are white in winter but black in summertime.
