Senju-kannon Buddhist Statue
There are many Senju-Kannon Buddhist stastues in Japan to help common people in various ways. Senju literally means one thousand arms. Most of them usually have 42 arms but only three Senju-Kannon statues really have one thousand arms. Those are housed in Juhoji temple in Kyoto, Toshodaiji temple in Nara, and Fujiidera temple in Osaka. I visited Juhoji temple in my home town to see the real Senju-Kannon. It also has one eye on every hand. It is so amazing.
